The Position
We have a tremendous opportunity in our product development team in Zurich, Switzerland where you will design, implement and code not only our existing applications but also your own ideas and solutions! You will utilize C#, Windows and Web applications, ASP.NET, Windows and Web Services, SQL Server, and many other of the latest technologies from Microsoft, to create incredibly secure, fast, scalable, high quality solutions to meet the demands of diverse customers. This work will be done in a multinational team environment with constant communication among team members.
What We Are Looking For
The position requires a software specialist with deep and broad knowledge of every aspect of the IT field, with experience in the object oriented development and Microsoft products.
What’s a Must
- A university degree (BSc, MSc or equal) in computer science
- Good knowledge about Microsoft operating systems (Windows XP, 2003 Server, Vista)
- Excellent OOP knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience in the design and development of applications with Microsoft tools, Visual Studio 2005, .Net Framework 2.0 and C#
- Experience with Windows Forms and Windows Services
- Experience with ASP.NET with IIS 6, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Experience with XML and XML Web Services
- At least 3 years of relational database experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers, etc.
- Experience with large real time databases and reporting
- Microsoft Office, incl. Word, Excel and Access
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Good verbal and written communications skills required to collaborate with business managers, coworkers and partners
- Responsible, fast, qualitative, dedicated, enthusiastic, independent and active employee
- Enjoys creating interesting and flexible applications that fulfill the requirements of a range of different customers
